Soils and Bulk Materials

At CLM, we take recycling seriously. As a professional landscape company, we utilize a variety of natural resources. We feel it is our job to recycle as many natural resources as possible. We use our grass clippings and leaves and combine them with screened sand from street sweeping as well as excavated dirt from our jobsites to produce screened loam that can be used for lawn and sod installation as well as lawn repair.

CLM is a Maine State Certified Composter, and our facility uses the latest technology to produce the richest soil materials with the lowest environmental impact.

On-site, we are constantly amending our materials that come back from job sites to produce the highest quality organic matter and loam to be recycled in the most efficient manner.

Some examples are:

Brush, stump and tree grindings produce high-qulaity playground chips.
Screened loam is produced from job site excavated earth, grass clippings from our mowers, and leaves from fall clean-up.
Super loam 50/50 blend is produced from loam and other organic matter from job sites.
